The Company

Joymode's mission was to help people do more while owning less. We provided on-demand product bundles like camping gear and backyward movie night equipment so people could experience new things without the need to buy.

My Role

I joined as a full-stack engineer working with Rails and AWS infrastructure. Within seven months, I was promoted to lead engineering and product on the Growth team. My team was small but we shipped experiments constantly, weekly, sometimes daily.

Notable Work

• Built a system that let our ad team create custom landing pages matched to user personas, improving signup conversion
• Ran experiments on purchase flows, offers (BOGO, discounts), and onboarding to drive growth
• Managed both the engineering and product sides of the growth pod, from stakeholder alignment to hands-on coding
